Vialog Privacy Policy

Vialog is a dose tracker for GLP-1 medications and peptides, made by Yasin Beyazlı (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: your health data stays on your phone. We have no servers that store it, and you do not need an account.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter is stored only on your device, in the app’s local database:

• Your medications, schedules, doses, injection sites and vials
• Weight, height and goal weight
• Daily protein, water, side effects and notes
• Your settings (units, language, reminder preferences)

We cannot see, access or recover this data. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Reminders

Dose and vial reminders are scheduled by your phone’s operating system as local notifications. They are created and shown on your device; their content is not sent to us.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Connecting Vialog to Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) is optional. You can connect it during setup or later in Settings, and stop it at any time in Settings or in the Health app.

• What Vialog reads: your weight and height, so you don't have to enter them by hand and weigh-ins from a smart scale or another app appear in your log. On Android, only the last 30 days of weight are read.
• What Vialog writes: the weigh-ins you log in Vialog, and one daily total each for protein and water. Your doses are not written.

Health data read from or written to these apps is used only to show your progress, BMI and goals inside Vialog. It stays on your device and is never sent to us or to third parties, never used for advertising or marketing, and never sold.

Data that leaves your device

The app talks to two services. Neither receives your health data.

Crash and performance reports (Sentry). When the app crashes or hits an error, a technical report is sent to Sentry, our error-tracking provider. It contains the error and where in the code it happened, your device model, operating system and app version, and a sample of app performance timings (such as how long a screen took to open). It does not contain your medications, doses, weight or notes, and it is not linked to your name or email. Sentry’s privacy policy: https://sentry.io/privacy/

Purchases (RevenueCat, Apple and Google). If you subscribe to Vialog Premium, the purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play, and RevenueCat checks whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for Vialog and basic device information. We never see your payment details. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, we do not sell or share your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Backups you export

In Settings → Data you can export a backup file. It contains your records and is handed to your phone’s share sheet; where it goes (Files, iCloud Drive, email, etc.) is your choice and is governed by that service. The app deletes its own copy once it has been shared. Keep exported files somewhere safe: they contain your health information.

Deleting your data

• In the app: Settings → Data → Delete all data removes every record from your device.
• By deleting the app: removing Vialog removes its data from your device.
• In Apple Health or Health Connect: records Vialog wrote there stay after you delete Vialog's data or the app; you can delete them in the Health app.

Because we hold no copy of your health data, there is nothing on our side to delete. To ask about data held by Sentry or RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.

Children

Vialog is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey’s KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since your health data never leaves your device, you control it directly in the app. For anything else, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
